Lloydminster, Alberta – This morning at approximately 2:00 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP responded to a residence where an adult victim was located with serious non-life threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the victim was assaulted at a separate residence and then taken to area in a vehicle but managed to escape.
Lloydminster RCMP have multiple suspects in custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing. Police do not believe this was a random act and there is no risk to public safety.
