Lloydminster, Alberta – In the early morning hours of March 30, 2020 Lloydminster RCMP were dispatched to a business in the 4700 block of 44th street for a report of multiple gun shots. Members flooded the area quickly, but were unable to locate any suspects. A bullet hole was located in a wall of a local business and a fired round was recovered.
Witnesses in the area were interviewed, and described two groups involved in the altercation. Video surveillance from the scene shows two unidentified victims running away westbound, and three suspects running northbound between the buildings after the shooting occurred.

“Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the RCMP,” says Const. Michael Hagel of the Lloydminster RCMP Detachment. “We believe this incident was targeted, not random; there is no danger to the public.”
